Evie Price’s journey at Wildstone started in the summer of 2021, right after she finished her GCSE exams. She joined our team in Northleach as an intern. Reflecting on her beginnings, she recalls,
"I couldn't have asked for a better first day. Everyone on the team was so welcoming.”
As Evie settled in, she went through Wildstone’s induction program. She recalls this experience:
"The induction was fantastic. It gave me a thorough understanding of all the different areas of the business, how they work together, and how my role fits within the wider business."
This introduction set the stage for her varied responsibilities, which included processing business rates, updating essential information in our database, refining the company’s internal systems and conducting several research projects.
After her initial four weeks, Evie was pleased to be offered the chance to continue working part-time on various ad hoc projects while attending college. She recalls,
"I jumped at the opportunity to stay on. I saw it as an amazing experience and a chance to further develop my skills."
Looking back on the past three years at Wildstone, Evie shares her experience:
"Time has gone by so fast. These past few years have helped me develop my administrative skills, increased my confidence, and given me invaluable exposure to the business world. It has been a strong foundation for my future professional career. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and opportunities the team has provided. As I get ready to travel through Europe and begin my studies at Plymouth University this October, I look back on my time at Wildstone with gratitude. Thank you for everything."
Priticka Patel, Director of People & Culture at Wildstone, adds:
"At Wildstone, we are dedicated to providing young individuals with opportunities to gain early and meaningful work experience. We understand and appreciate the immense potential and talent that young people offer."
Sarah Bolt, Head of Estates at Wildstone, adds:
“It has been a pleasure having Evie working in our team, her positive attitude enabled her to learn quickly and become a real asset to the team. We shall miss her but wish her the very best in her future studies.”
