Sarah's career journey started in hospitality, where she gained experience in hotel operations and management. She then transitioned into team management, where she oversaw the installation team for the largest Passivhaus window supplier in the UK, here she managed multiple teams across the UK and construction projects including those featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs TV series. In early 2017, Sarah joined Insite Poster Properties Ltd. (“Insite”). She began as Operations Manager and played a key role in the integration process when Insite merged with Wildstone in 2020.
As Operations Manager, Sarah had a diverse and hands-on role. Her duties included dealing with landlord queries, producing all the billing and tenure reports for the business, and working very closely with the finance department for account management.
Sarah's hard work and determination led to her promotion as Head of Estates at Wildstone, where she now leads a team managing over 3000 UK assets. Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing marketing partner relationships, landlord relationships, and ensuring quality control of our properties, among others. As a department, they provide key reports to the company stakeholders. Sarah's collaboration with all Heads of Departments contributes to the delivery of the highest-quality assets to the UK market.
When reflecting on Wildstone, Sarah shared,
"What I love about working here is the excitement, the diversity, and the fast-paced nature of the business we are all involved in. But what truly resonates with me is maintaining that 'family vibe' of a small business with all our colleagues, regardless of which office we work in. No one day is the same, and that's what I love so much."
Sarah continues,
"I have never worked for a CEO quite like Damian Cox. His enthusiasm and passion for Wildstone is infectious and has steered us into the successful business that we are today. I look forward to embarking on the Leadership Development Program that Wildstone has so kindly enrolled me on and what the future may hold for myself and Wildstone as a business. Personal development at Wildstone is actively encouraged for everyone; invest in people and they will invest in you, it is such a true mantra.”
When Sarah isn't working, she indulges in her passion for motor racing and dedicates her time to volunteering for various organisations. She's a familiar face at events like the Royal International Air Tattoo and the Badminton Horse Trials, where she serves as a traffic steward each year. In addition to these commitments, she also lends her support to various local events.
Jill Hebden, Wildstone UK Managing Director, adds,
“Sarah has been an integral part of our team since joining us, and it has been immensely gratifying to witness her growth and development within the company. Her ability to inspire and motivate her team, coupled with her natural flair for fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, has been instrumental in driving the Estates team success”.
At Wildstone, we take great pride in our commitment to promoting from within and investing in our employees’ growth and development. Sarah embodies these values wholeheartedly, and her ascent to the role of Head of Estates is a testament to her unparalleled work ethic, passion and exemplary performance.
