Today, April 11th, is World Parkinson's Day, a day to raise awareness about Parkinson's disease, a degenerative disorder of the nervous system that affects movement, causing tremors, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination. It's estimated that about 10 million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's disease, and it's important to educate the public about the disease, its symptoms, and the available treatments.
Wildstone are proud to support World Parkinson’s Day by donating media time on the Edinburgh Airport Tower. This two-sided digital outdoor advertising tower is located on Eastfield Road, which is the main arterial route between the airport and Edinburgh city center, delivering 400,000 impacts (views) per fortnight. It is an honour to be able to use our platform to support important causes like this one, and we hope that our efforts will help raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and improve the lives of those affected by it.
